beOriginal is the private life OS for people juggling shift work, side hustles, and self-improvement — track your hours, money, health, and habits in one place, without your data ever leaving your hands.

Nine modules. One reason: your life doesn't fit in five different apps.

Every module started as something you actually needed — not a feature checklist.

01

Shifts & freelance

Log irregular hours, overtime, and freelance gigs. Month-end totals calculated for you.

02

Habits

Simple, private habit tracking — build the routines you actually want to keep.

03

Health

Sleep, weight, and key metrics, plus medication and appointment reminders.

04

Wealth

Income and expenses across your job and side income, in one ledger.

05

Today & to-dos

What matters today — nothing more, nothing buried.

06

Activities

Workouts, study sessions, dopamine detoxes — the things you do, tracked by type.

07

Journal

A private place to write your day, whenever you actually want to.

08

Notes

A clean, flexible editor for everything else in your head.

09

Library

Your personal PDFs, available anywhere you're signed in — including work.

Why not just use what you already have?

Honest comparisons, because you'll ask anyway.

vs. Notion

Notion is a blank canvas — powerful, but you build the system yourself. beOriginal is pre-built for shift and freelance life. No setup tax.

vs. Habitica / Streaks

Great for habits alone. They don't know about your work hours, your income, or your sleep — beOriginal connects all of it.

vs. Toggl / Clockify

Built for client billing, not for calculating your own shift pay and overtime at month-end.

vs. 4–5 separate apps

Each one has its own data policy you never read. beOriginal is one policy, one place, one you decide about.

Your data stays yours. Plainly.

  • No ads, ever. No selling your data to anyone, ever.
  • Your entries — health, money, journal — are yours to export or delete at any time.
  • Built privacy-first from day one, not bolted on after a policy complaint.

Why I built this

I was jobless and trying to rebuild. I started tracking habits in a privacy-first app, but it was missing things I needed. Then I got a second job with shift work and overtime — completely new territory for me — and started tracking my hours in Notepad, doing the month-end math by hand every time.

So I built a tiny tool to do the math for me. Then I picked up freelance work, so I tracked that too. Then I realized my life really came down to four pillars — health, wealth, career, relationships — and if I could track all of them in one private place, I could actually see my life clearly for the first time.

That became beOriginal. I used it myself for two years before ever thinking about launching it.

Questions you're probably asking

Will I actually stick with this, or abandon it like every other tracker?
Logging one shift or one habit takes under 10 seconds. The modules you don't need stay hidden until you turn them on.
Is this a side project that'll disappear in six months?
It's been my own daily tool for two years before this page existed. It's not a weekend build.
Do I need to use every module?
No. Onboarding asks which pillars matter to you right now — health, wealth, career, relationships — and starts there.
Is it really free to start?
Yes — habits, to-dos, and basic shift tracking are free. Deeper wealth, health, and library features are part of the paid tier.

Built for the rebuild. Not just the routine.
